Mobile Phone Marketing

It's here it's now and it will probably be the next great thing in Internet Marketing.
Do you have a mobile phone? Ya, so does everybody else that's not living under a rock somewhere in the middle east.

Have you heard of text messaging? I would bet you have. Well come to find out there is a way to target your text messages and use the GPS positioning system in peoples' phone so that you can send a text message campaign at the right time to people that are in the area around your business to let them know about the special service you offer that they may be interested in.

Example: Friday evening at 4:20pm Jack and Jill are thinking they would like to have a drink but don't know where. Bob owns a bar two blocks from where Jack and Jill work. Bob sends out one of his text message campaigns about his happy hour to all the phones on his list within four blocks of his bar at 4:30pm. Presto, now they know where to go and have a drink. Yaaa!! Problem solved and everybody wins.

This is very simplified but what is stopping you from learning this or hiring somebody to implement this for your business? Whatever you do, don't ignore it because it will be a powerful new marketing tool.
